Source: El Paso Journal, date unknown, probably in the early 1940's. CALIFORNIA DEATH Former Miss Louise Bennett of El Paso Passes Away in Los Angeles Last Sunday. ---A. H. Waite has received a letter from his nephew, Ernest Bennett of Los Angeles, Cal., announcing the death of Mrs. E. Louise Robinson on Sunday evening, May 24. Mrs. Robinson was the former Miss Louise Bennett of El Paso, sister of the late Walter Bennett. She lived in El Paso for many years and was always highly regarded. She married in California , her husband preceding her in death. Funeral services were held in Los Angeles yesterday, and in compliance with her wishes her remains will be interred inthe Bennett family lot in Phoenix, Ariz. She had been in ill health for many months, the last eight weeks being spent in a hospital, following a fall resulting in the fracture of five ribs. Ernest's letter states that he and his brother Hal are very busy with their business of building trailers for army requirements and castings for the aircraft industry. They visited Phoenix last February and found their aunt, Mrs. Lillie (Waite) Jessop in good health. The late Mrs. Walter Bennett, who died two years ago, and Mrs. Jessop were sisters, daughters of the late F. T. Waite and sisters of A.H.
